This past weekend, we were lucky enough to attend the re-opening ceremony of Disneyland’s Toontown. We got to visit the day before it was open to park guests for a special media tour of the new attractions and rides. Toontown has been closed since March 14, 2020. Initially, the entire Disneyland park was closed due to COVID. However, even after the park reopened, Toontown remained closed for renovations.

Spring is right around the corner, and we finally got a few warm days in LA. One of the hottest denim trends for spring is cargo pants. If you’re a woman who loves to wear jeans, you’re probably always on the lookout for new styles and designs.

Have you heard of a green tea shot? I hadn’t until very recently. Initially, I actually thought it was a healthy shot, like an infusion of green tea and other things you would drink for your health. Well, I was wrong. Sure, healthy green tea shots do exist, but these ones are liquor. Green tea cocktails are sometimes called the Jameson green tea shot. They are super easy to make and a really interesting mix of sweet and sour. They are also a pretty popular cocktail shot and perfect for St. Patrick’s day.

I recently got this chic double breasted dress. I actually bought it to wear at NYFW, but ended up canceling the trip. last minute. Although I love that this dress can be worn as a dress, I actually chose to wear it as a long blazer.

If you follow my page, you know that I love making easy recipes with puff pastry. Puff pastry is such a game-changer for baking and cooking because it saves so much time and also tastes so good. My newest recipe is these apple roses with puff pastry. They are such a pretty recipe, such a great breakfast pastry or dessert option.

One of my favorite weekend trips from Los Angeles is to visit Palm Springs. It is only about a two-hour drive. When you get to the desert, it really does feel like you’re in a completely new place. It’s been a pretty chilly winter here in LA, so I wanted to escape the cool weather for some warmth and sunshine.

I bought this neon floral bubble coat to bring with me to NYFW, but then I decided not to attend this year. Believe it or not, mornings and evenings in LA can get cold enough when you need a warm bubble jacket like this. I absolutely love this jacket for several reasons, the print being the number one reason. I think the floral pattern is so fun. It gives a nod to spring while still being the perfect winter jacket.

Chocolate covered pretzels, especially chocolate covered pretzel rods are one of my favorite treats. The sweet and salty combo is always a winner and there is something so appealing about the crunch of chocolate dipped pretzel rods. I like them dipped in milk or dark chocolate and I like white chocolate covered pretzels even more.

For Gigi’s birthday this year, she requested a soccer birthday party. My kids have played soccer for a few years, but they really got into it this past fall. It is so fun watching them bloom into little athletes and I was excited she picked a sports theme this year. In the past, she’s gone for much girlier themes. We did ballet one year, and unicorns another year, so this was a fun change.

I recently got this cute cut out sweater and I think it’s such a fun change of pace for winter fashion. I generally avoid bulky sweaters in the winter and I love that this one is streamlined and unique. It also has a cute feminine touch with the little pearl button detail.

During the holidays, I made one of my favorite quick appetizers – puff pastry-wrapped brie. It is such an easy, yet appears elevated, appetizer. However, I had an extra sheet of puff pastry and I wasn’t sure what to do with it. I usually used puff pastry to make. well, pastries. But I figured there must be another way to use the puff pastry. Enter puff pastry pizza. This might be my new favorite and the easiest way to make pizza at home.

Have you heard of Atlantis Bahamas? I can’t remember the first time I heard about Atlantis, but I do remember how much it stood out as an iconic location the times I’ve been to Nassau. This is my third time in Nassau, although I actually forgot I had visited in 2013. My memory was jogged as we drove from the airport through the downtown area. I remembered the trip and our Vespa ride around the island as we drove past the distinctive downtown area and the fish market.

I’ve become an accidental collector of Mickey and Minnie ears. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2018, we’ve had many more opportunities to visit Disneyland (and Disney World in 2022!).

Valentine’s day is only a month away so I’m starting to think of little ways to add touches of love throughout this month. These pretzel Valentine hearts are so cute and really easy to make. But before we get into the instructions on how to make these cute pretzel Valentine treats, let’s talk a bit about pretzels and Valentine’s day.

If you’re a fan of Starbucks, you’ve probably tried their delicious Cranberry Bliss Bars. These sweet and festive treats are the perfect addition to your holiday menu. But with this copycat cranberry bliss bar recipe, you can enjoy them year-round.

During winter break, I was trying to think of unique things to do with my kids. I feel very blessed Los Angeles has so many fun things to do. During the break, we went to Dodger Stadium to visit Santa, went sledding on the sand in Hermosa Beach, and checked out some of the fabulous Christmas lights around the city.

One of the perks of my job is receiving countless PR packages every week. Although I absolutely love to try out new products, it is not possible for me to use everything I receive. That’s why I’m so excited to share some of my favorite beauty and skincare brands with you! Three lucky winners will receive $500+ worth of skincare and beauty products each!

Searching for options for Ice Skating Los Angeles? I’ve got you covered. If you live in LA or Orange County areas, here are 9 places to go skating this holiday season. By the way, if you’re looking for snow near LA, click here.

Are you a sweater person? Would you ever rock a half zip sweater? I tend to prefer sweatshirts over sweaters for a lot of reasons. Mostly, I got stuck on wearing cropped sweatshirts a couple of years ago, and it’s still my go-to look most days. There are so many cute cropped sweatshirts, but rarely do I find sweaters I like. Sweaters often feel really bulky and less cozy to me.

Last week, I did a holiday entertaining segment on KTLA and I shared this Christmas tree cupcake topper tutorial. This is a perfect holiday recipe because it is so easy to make at home and you don’t need to be an expert at making candy or baking to create these adorable candy Christmas trees.

I’ve been on the hunt for new jeans this fall. I own several pairs of cropped ‘mom’ and ‘dad’ jeans. I tried out the wide-leg style earlier this fall, but I still don’t feel like I have a well-rounded jeans wardrobe. Enter these front slit jeans.

Are you looking for a really simple holiday dessert that’s as cute as it is tasty? Then you need to make these Santa hat brownies. Seriously, it doesn’t get easier than this. I am always a proponent of sharing semi-homemade recipes, especially during the holidays when people are very short on time. I actually shared this recipe on KTLA the other day, and everyone, including the hosts and crew, loved these brownie Santa hats.

It’s holiday entertaining time, so I wanted to try some new cocktail recipes. Next Monday, I will be on KTLA sharing some of my favorite holiday drinks, appetizers, and dessert recipes. (In case you missed my other KTLA appearances 1; 2). One of the recipes I’m going to share is this cranberry and pomegranate margarita.

How cute are these pretzel Rolo reindeer? They are super simple to make and only take four ingredients. You’ll need red M&M’s, candy eyes, mini pretzels, and Rolos. If you can’t find the red and green M&Ms you could use a regular bag of M&Ms and use the red and brown M&Ms so only some of the Rolo pretzel reindeer look like Rudolph.

Earlier this month, I finally had the chance to take my kids to New York City. I honestly thought they would love it. Thankfully, I had already planned some things to do in NYC with kids prior to our arrival. But what surprised me the most was the things they love about NYC that I never expected.

What are your biggest shopping struggles? Do you hate trying on clothes at the store? Do you have trouble finding styles that suit you? Are you stuck in a style rut, always wearing the same pieces? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you need to try my new clothing rental service, StyleBox by Posh in Progress. It’s a women’s clothing subscription box that makes your life so much easier.

My trip to Panama was nothing short of spectacular. Visiting the city, itself, was amazing, but our excursions were definitely my favorite part of the trip. One of our excursions was to the San Blas Islands of Panama and our other excursion was a Panama Canal Tour, which was also the Monkey Island Panama tour.

On my recent trip to Panama City, Panama, we spent a lot of our time exploring the city. But, we made it a point to see some of the other unique parts of Panama. Visiting the San Blas Islands in Panama was one of those unique excursions. If you get the chance to visit San Blas Panamá, you won’t be disappointed. All photos in this post were shot by Daniel Benjamin Photo.

My dear friend Michelle has extensive family in Panama and is of Panamanian heritage. She often travels to Panama. When I met her, just over a year ago, I told her I would love to go to Panama with her someday. Then, a few months ago, she mentioned she was thinking about going back again in October because her mom would be in town, so I jumped at the chance to join her.

I love pumpkin spice recipes. I’ve made a lot of pumpkin recipes over the years, but I’ve never made baked pumpkin spice donuts before. There are other baked donut recipes I’ve made (like these baked lemon donuts) but never baked pumpkin donuts. Ironically, one of my most viral pins has always been this 12 baked donuts recipe pin. However, I’ve rarely made baked donuts.

October is Pet Wellness Month! For all the pet parents out there, I am doing a segment on KTLA to share some of the brand-new essentials from the Amazon-exclusive pet brand, Lesure. All of these products are intended to help pet parents create a safe and cozy space for their fur baby to rest, as an essential anti-anxiety step, including a popular calming dog bed and cat products too.

There are certain trends from the 80s and 90s that I dreaded coming back into fashion. One of those was bodysuits. Honestly, I’ve always struggled with bodysuits because I have a long torso. I always found them to be very uncomfortable because they would ride up so much. What I’ve found is that I actually don’t mind bodysuits if they have a flowy top or super stretchy material to accommodate my long torso. I recently found this black and white striped bodysuit and it’s perfect for this early fall weather in LA.

It’s spooky season and we’re gearing up for one of my favorite holidays. I absolutely love Halloween and all of the festive treats that go along with it. I’m so excited to show you how to create these adorable and yummy spooky Halloween brownies in less than an hour (including baking time!).

I recently got this bright blue pleated dress for an upcoming trip. I thought it would be so photogenic against the old city. But I also realized this is the perfect addition to my wardrobe because this dress is quite versatile. This dress will look great styled in at least a few ways. If you’ve thought about looking for pleated dresses for women, read on to see why I chose this one and how I would style it in three ways.

When was the last time you did something nice for someone? Do you remember that warm and fuzzy feeling it gave you? Acts of service and being kind to others actually does just as much good for the doer as for the recipient. That’s because kindness is contagious.

The other day, I was looking back at photos from high school (for this TikTok video), and I sat there for a second. I couldn’t believe how much I actually loved my hair. Ok, not the styles, but the quality, the texture, and the shine! It looked so full and healthy. I didn’t realize just how much I missed that hair until I dealt with a lot of hair loss after having my kids. But I think I’ve finally found the secret to hair regrowth for women. Read on to see what I’ve learned.

Athleisure is here to stay. I remember talking to a friend recently about how casual Americans dress compared to other parts of the world. (We are headed to South America soon, and the vibe is much dressier down there). But even if other places require a lot more dressed-up looks, here in the U.S., people love their denim and, even more casual, the standard black leggings or sweats. Lately, I’ve seen more and more women choosing to wear a matching activewear set, so I thought it was time I try one for myself.

Blackberries are one of my favorite fruits. Honestly, I’m not a huge fruit person, I prefer veggies (is that weird?), but blackberries are definitely one I enjoy. I love the tartness and the firm texture. Although I always eat them raw, I realized I’ve never actually baked with them. I decided it was worth trying to bake with them since I do love baking with fruit. I’ve made a few fruit-based pies before, but never mini tartlets. That’s why I decided to try making a blackberry tart. Instead of making one full-size blackberry tart, I decided to try this blackberry tartlet recipe.

I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with animal print. Honestly, it always makes me think of the older ladies on the Sopranos. It generally gives me – trying to be chic, but actually pretty trashy vibes. But every now and then I love to throw a new animal print piece into my wardrobe.

We’ve been having so much fun designing new Halloween gear using our new Cricut machine. Just last week, I posted about these cute skeleton shoes. I also shared this cute Vampire t-shirt too. We are heading back to Disneyland this weekend, so I thought it would be fun to try making a DIY Halloween t-shirt too.

If you’ve followed my blog for any period of time, you know I love dresses, especially sweater dresses. They are one of my wardrobe favorites for fall and winter. I recently got this bodycon midi sweater dress that I think is the absolute perfect addition to my fall wardrobe because it works so well for work and also for a night out.

Are you looking for a fun and easy Halloween project? Your kids (and family) will love these adorable skeleton shoes. Using my Cricut Maker 3 (gifted from my friends at Cricut), I created these cute shoes for both of my kids in less than an hour. I never thought to create Cricut shoes, but it was so much easier than you might imagine. Read on to see how I made these perfect-for-Halloween black skeleton shoes.

It is officially Disneyland Halloween time! It is my favorite time of year at Disneyland. I do love Christmas time at Disneyland too, but there is something that feels extra special at Halloween. We were lucky enough to get to attend the opening night of Oogie Boogie Bash and be some of first people to experience Halloween at Disneyland. Read on to find everything you need to know about Halloween Time at Disneyland.

I have to admit, I’m usually a little slow to picking up the latest denim trends. Generally, I tend to sit back a while and see what’s going to stick before jumping into a new jean fit. I can distinctly remember when skinny jeans first became popular. For the longest time, I did not want to give up my bootcut jeans for skinny jeans.

You found out your student is in a split grade class or a combination classroom. This might be surprising, exciting or confusing for you as a parent. Your student also might be worried, excited, nervous, or upset. As an educator and a parent of a kid who just entered a split 4th/5th class, and also as the daughter of a parent who used to teach split-grade classes, I have thoughts of you to hopefully ease your mind and get you set up for a successful school year.

If there’s one color I keep seeing for fall, it’s this rust orange color. It seems to be everywhere. I recently got this cute rusty orange dress, and I actually ordered another rust orange dress that’s coming any day now. If you want to jump on the rusty orange color trend, I’m sharing some of my favorite pieces for fall.

Are you looking for a quick and easy guacamole recipe? Then you need to try this 4-ingredient guacamole recipe. The great thing about this easy guacamole recipe is that it’s so simple to make and you can customize it to your favorite flavor preferences.
Banfield on NewsNation recently asked me to join in a conversation with Bianca Jade about social media safety. I’ve spent the last 9 years curating a following online and sharing tips and experiences on my blog. After so many years, I’ve learned some major mistakes I’ve made and also ways to keep my family and myself safe.

What is your anti-aging skin care routine? As we age, our skin changes. I don’t know about you, but I want it to stay as youthful for as long as possible. If you’re curious how I take care of my skin and constantly surprise people when I tell them my age, read on to learn about my anti-aging skin care routine.

We’re nearing the end of summer but it’s actually been the warmest it’s been all year in LA lately. I recently got this lavender mini dress from Fashion Nova. I had never shopped there before but one of my friends suggested it for jeans. Unfortunately, I didn’t love the jeans, but I did find this cute lavender dress and I’m loving it for these warmer summer days.

If you’re like me, you may find it daunting to think about how to talk to kids about sex. It’s a topic we’ve pretty much avoided until I realized that it was time to start the conversations. Although I thought I hadn’t started to talk to my kids about sex, I realized I actually had talked with them about some of the basics they need to understand the broader topics related to sex and sexuality. So if you’re wondering when to talk to kids about sex, you’ve probably already started. It’s never too early or too late to start.

I love wearing white dresses in the summer. Every year, I add at least one or two new ones (this one has florals too). I recently found this white lace dress on sale, and I knew I had to have it. It’s a coverup and a mini dress in one. I’ve talked about wearing cover-ups as dresses earlier this summer. This is another example of a perfect beach cover-up that also works as a summer dress.

One of our favorite (and popular) summer recipes is Mexican Street Corn. We love grilling corn in the summer because the kids love it and it just feels like summer. The great thing about this elote in a cup recipe is that it takes traditional street corn and makes it much more portable and perfect to take to bbqs or other summer parties by making Mexican street corn in a cup.
.png)
Just in time for the hottest month, this corset mini dress is my new favorite summer dress. I absolutely adore the fun floral watercolor print. I also love the v-neck and the corsetted bust and drop waist.

My family loves peaches. Honestly, I’m not really a big fan. But because they love them, I try to come up with new and interesting ways to bake with them. Often, I make completely scratch recipes. Sometimes, I prefer to do semi-homemade recipes like this cinnamon roll peach cobbler.
.png)
This geo print dress I ordered last month. I planned to take it with me on a trip to Cancun that I had to cancel. Although I think this dress is absolutely perfect for a tropical vacation, it’s also a great dress for summer no matter where you live. I wore it on a Saturday morning to brunch, and it felt like a great brunch option.

Its watermelon season. We love watermelon in our family. We generally just eat it in chunks, but every now and then, I look for a new way to use it. Recently, I’ve seen a lot of watermelon-infused water recipes and other fruit-infused waters. Although I’ve seen it done several different ways, I never saw a recipe that really excited me. I searched high and low and finally combined a couple of recipes to make, what I consider, the perfect watermelon water or watermelon agua fresca recipe.

“I want to be an NBA player when I grow up.” My son has been saying this statement for a couple of years now. Basketball is his first love. Like many young boys, he dreams of being a professional athlete. However, the chances he will go pro are not in his favor, only 0.02% of boys will make it to the NBA.

I recently got this white embroidered dress for a trip to Mexico. Unfortunately, the trip got postponed, but this dress is still perfect for summer. I chose it because I thought the embroidered flowers felt very appropriate for Mexico, but I think an embroidered floral dress can be great for any summer day or summer vacation.

I love strawberry season. Well, I love berry season in general. When they are the height of freshness, their flavor is just so amazing. I’ve made lots of different types of strawberry cakes and desserts over the years, but never a strawberry angel food cake. I decided it was time to give it a try.

Please don’t touch my kids’ hair. Please tell your children that touching Black people’s hair is not ok. So, you are probably wondering why I’m writing about this, and why this is an issue. I’m sure the average white person has never thought about it, never considered it, because it doesn’t affect them. But it’s never OK to touch a Black person’s hair, and even if you ask, it’s still not ok (although at least a bit more polite). So here’s the story.

Do you have a favorite accessory? For me, it’s by far, sunglasses. I own probably 30 pairs of sunglasses, but I’m always on the hunt for a new pair. I own a lot of classic pairs but not many ultra-modern ones. When I saw these Louis Vuitton cat-eye sunglasses on their site, I knew I wanted to try them.

Have you ever wanted to make chocolate chip cookies but you don’t want a bunch of them? Then this small batch chocolate chip cookies recipe is the one for you. These are some of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had. I honestly didn’t think anything could beat this chocolate chip cookie recipe (which is still one of my favs), but I think I like this one even more. Why do I think this is the best recipe? Well, I prefer it because you don’t have to refrigerate the dough. Whereas, my other favorite recipe is best if you refrigerate for at least 24 hours.

Earlier this month, I shared my family’s recent experience at Knott’s Berry Farm. I also talked about why I decided to get an annual pass for my kids and me this year. One of the major perks of the gold and platinum passes is having unlimited access to both Knott’s Berry Farm and Knott’s Soak City.

What’s your go-to work style in the summer? Lately, I’ve been into lightweight slacks with cute jackets. I recently got this lace jacket, and I definitely think it’s going to get a lot of wear this summer.

Are you a zucchini fan? Have you ever had it in a salad? I think most people are used to eating it sauteed, in bread or muffin, or maybe deep-fried, but its really yummy in many different ways. One of my favorite ways to use zucchini is to make zucchini pizza crust. I also love these zucchini parmesan crisps and these zucchini chaffles.

I was trying to think of something fun to do with the kids over Memorial Day since we decided to stay in town. We haven’t been to Knott’s Berry Farm in over two years, so it seemed like the perfect time. Even with traffic, we live less than an hour from Knott’s, so it makes for a great day trip for our family. Although we definitely had a great time, there are some things I’ve learned about visiting and the benefits of the Knott’s Berry Farm Season Pass.

Memorial Day fashion, but make it chic. I’m definitely a fan of wearing dresses that are special holiday-appropriate, without wearing something that screams the American flag. This striped cold shoulder dress is the perfect way to nod to the holiday without screaming ‘Merica. There are lots of reasons I love a cold shoulder dress for spring and summer, but here are 3 reasons.

If you’re looking for Memorial Day desserts, this red white and blue trifle recipe is a great place to start. The thing I love about this recipe is the fact that it uses fresh fruit, is so easy to make, and looks so cute and festive for the American summer holidays. Even if you’re not looking for a festive spin on a berry trifle, this recipe is still great for summer.

Last Friday, I was feeling antsy. It has been a while since I traveled anywhere, so on a whim, I decided to head to Palm Springs for the weekend. Given the extremely short notice and the fact that I needed to bring my dog, I did a search on the Marriott site for pet-friendly hotels.

Judith March gifted me this lovely lavender baby doll dress. When I first saw it on their website, I knew I wanted to add it to my spring dress wardrobe. I absolutely love lavender and it’s such a perfect spring dress.

Are you a scone person? I generally find people either love them or really don’t like them. I personally love all types of scones. Even if they are dry or moist, round or triangle-shaped, I like them all. I first fell in love with scones when I went to London. I will never forget the time I went to the Natural History Museum and had their scone with clotted cream. That’s when I first fell in love with scones. Since then, I’ve tried a lot of scone recipes but never a copycat Starbucks blueberry scone recipe, so I thought it was time to try it.

I’m so excited to finally get to announce that I wrote a children’s book! It’s available for pre-order now on Amazon, Target, Barnes and Noble, and more. The book is called A Thankful Book for Kids: Giving Thanks, Helping Others, and Feeling Grateful. I’m so excited to get to announce this book and share more details on how this came to be.

Do you ever find a piece of clothing and then realize it’s clearly a trend? I didn’t realize how popular a yellow midi dress was for spring until I started looking. It seems now that every way I turn I see another store selling a yellow dress. I recently got this marigold yellow silk dress and instantly fell in love. If you’re looking for a bold statement to add to your spring wardrobe a marigold dress might be the way to go.

It’s Cinco de Mayo, so I thought I should try a new margarita recipe. This mango margarita recipe is so delicious and so easy to make. The great thing about this recipe is that you can use fresh or frozen mangos. I actually used one bag of frozen mangos because I wanted them to have a slushy consistency. If you want them to be less slushy, you can remove some (or all) of the ice, and also use fresh mango.
.png)
I recently got this amazing new pan from my friends at Ninja, so I wanted to try out a one-pot meal to see how it works. I chose this puff pastry chicken pot pie meal because it was something I could accomplish in one pan and it looked delicious. This is such an easy chicken pot pie recipe, you definitely need to give it a try.

Today is National Zucchini Bread day! I’ve always loved veggie bread. Pumpkin bread (check out my pumpkin recipes) and zucchini bread are two of my favorite things to bake and enjoy because they are so simple to make and always taste delicious. My mom didn’t bake a ton when I was a kid, but she did always make the most delicious pumpkin and zucchini bread, so I suppose it has some nostalgic feelings for me. This is my first time trying a vegan zucchini bread recipe and I love how it turned out. Read on to see how I changed up this recipe.

Last summer, my kids attended Camp Galileo, a leader in innovative summer camps. This year, Galileo Learning reached out to us and offered us a free week of camp and I can honestly say that it was my kids’ favorite week of the entire summer. That’s a big statement, given that we also went to Sitka Alaska, and back to my hometown of Green Bay. Those summer trips are usually their highlight, but their week of camp was actually the biggest highlight of them all.

I bet your kids are talking about recycling in school today. I bet they made some earth-shaped crafts, or something similar. I’m sure their teachers talked to them about the importance of caring for our planet. All of that is great, and a worthy thing to teach kids. But have you ever thought about sustainability in your daily life or how to teach kids about sustainability? This article is meant as a way for you to introduce you to sustainability for kids.

I finally jumped on the wide brim hats bandwagon and I’m not looking back. Judith March recently gifted this gorgeous white wide brim fedora and I absolutely fell in love with it. It is quite outside of my normal style, but I’m here for it.

My kids and I are getting to experience lots of firsts this spring. Earlier this spring, we went on our first cruise and last week, we got to go to Lake Tahoe for the first time. My kids have also never done any snow sports so they were so excited to get to try to snowboard for the first time.

I recently got this cute crochet cover up that doubles as a dress for a nighttime look. So I thought it would be fun to show how to style this knitted beach dress in two ways. When I got this dress, I wasn’t sure I’d be that into it. I don’t really wear beige too often because it’s too close to my skin tone. However, I love the cut of this dress so much, so the color has grown on me.

When Disney Parks invited us to visit Walt Disney World AND go on a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas, I honestly couldn’t believe it. For several days, I was in shock. I first received the invite in the late fall of 2021. We were supposed to depart at the end of January, but due to the surge in Omicron, they postponed the trip. Thankfully, they rescheduled it for the end of March, and I was able to take some time with my kids so we could participate.

Since I just went to the Bahamas and Florida and it’s going to be in the 80s this week in LA, I needed to get some new beach cover ups. If you’re heading off to spring break or just need to add some new beach wear to your wardrobe, read on to read about some of my favorite cover up options.

I live in Los Angeles, so we make trips to Disneyland happen at least a couple of times a year. It is one of my kids’ favorite things to do in Southern California, and we’ve been lucky enough to attend some really cool events at Disneyland. However, when we received the coveted invitation to attend the Disney Creators’ event at Walt Disney World, during their 50th birthday celebration, my response was omg yes!

About five months ago, I met the owner of PKLR sport. I had no idea what PKLR stood for. He explained PKLR stands for ‘pickler’. So what is a pickler you ask? Someone who plays pickleball. Prior to meeting him, I had never even heard the term pickleball, I knew nothing of the sport, and I didn’t even know pickleball clothing was a thing.

I recently got this bright pink pleated dress. I love how classic the style is, yet the bold color makes it so perfect for spring. Pleats are such a classic style and definitely a wardrobe staple. I can still remember a teal pleated skirt I had back in the mid-2000s. It’s one of those pieces that always made me feel so special. Now, I can’t recall why I got rid of it, but it was about time to add a new pleated piece to my wardrobe. This pink pleated dress is definitely a piece I will break out any time I want to feel pretty.

Do you own any metallic clothing? What about a metallic skirt? I’ve had this one in my closet for quite a while. I love this silver midi skirt for several reasons. If you’ve ever thought about owning a silver skirt or any other color metallic skirt, read on to see why they are a great wardrobe addition.

My favorite candy bar, by far, is Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. But, I actually love the holiday-shaped Reese’s even more. I don’t play favorites, I equally love the eggs, trees, pumpkins, and hearts. But there is something that I just love about the holiday-shaped Reese’s even more than the originals. That’s why I decided to make this copycat Reese’s eggs recipe. These homemade peanut butter eggs are so easy to make and almost as good as the original.

One of the things that have been a challenge during the pandemic is my kids’ lack of access to youth sports. Although we’ve found ways to incorporate sports into their daily lives, we’ve definitely missed team sports. Thankfully, we have a lot of memories from our past sports experiences and have even found ways to keep in touch with our past coaches and families. Now that we are back in sports this spring, we are excited to start building new relationships and friendships. Even during the break from our sports seasons, we’ve been able to keep in touch using the Spond app, which is perfect for youth sports team management.

If you’ve followed my fashion content at all, you know I love a sweater dress. I love them because they come in so many different shapes, colors, styles, and fits. If you click here, you’ll see all of the sweater dresses I’ve worn in the last couple of years. I recently got this new black and white sweater dress and I’m really loving it, especially for work. Read on to see more of my favorite sweater dresses and how I style them.

It’s almost that time of year to get ready for Easter. That’s why I made these cute nutter butter Easter bunnies. They are so easy to make and my kids loved them! They didn’t turn out as perfectly as I’d like, but they are very fun and festive for the Easter holiday.

Have you taken your kids in a pony ride yet? One of my fondest memories as a very little child was riding ponies at Bay Beach in Green Bay. I always loved riding the ponies and I realized recently that my kids have never ridden a horse or a pony. Most of the time, I share dressier looks. I love to dress up, but honestly, I hardly ever get to wear dressy clothes. I work from home most of the time, so I rarely need to wear my business professional or even business casual clothes.
