This season, I’ve been on the search for a black gold bracelets – black leather bracelet with gold accents – which I first fell in love with at Saint Laurent. When I first saw it, I almost lost control and blindly charged it, but I managed to regain my senses. My fiscally savvy-self could not justify the purchase, even though I consider a piece like this completely worthy of the splurge since the iconic brand makes it something of a collector’s piece.

When I first saw this look, I was especially drawn to the ultra girly lace blouse and glam necklace paired with more casual cuffed jeans and booties. This spring, both lace and cuffed jeans are very on-trend and you don’t have to retire your booties quite yet since there are lots of ways to incorporate booties into your spring wardrobe.

Probably my current favorite trend is track pants. You can find them in all sorts of prints, patterns and textures, like those used in this sequin track pants look. I’m so in love with this trend because the track pants I’ve been wearing look lux, are dressy enough for work, but are super comfortable without looking sloppy.

Winter accessories for women have more style and panache than ever. A knit hat is no longer just a knit hat, but features rhinestones, gems or interesting prints. I generally don’t advocate for buying inexpensive footwear because I believe shoes (and purses) should be quality investment pieces that will last you for years. But there are exceptions to my rule. The exceptions are 1) you can’t afford the quality pair you are eyeing, but you still want a cute new item for fall; 2) you want to try out a new trend, but don’t want to pay too much because you aren’t sure you’ll wear it or think the style might only be cool this season.

Party dresses are all about sparkle, sequins and tastefully showing a little skin. With New Year’s Eve simultaneously being the last and first party of the year, you could probably justify spending twice your normal budget to ring in the new year. However, with the plethora of great options at reasonable price points, you don’t have to break the bank to look fabulous.
