How to Create Two Jumpsuit Outfit Ideas That Are Affordable

Do you ever find a piece of clothing that is so comfortable, you don’t want to take it off? That’s exactly how I feel about this ultra-comfortable black jumpsuit. I love it so much, I decided to try styling it different ways and thought it would be fun to share a few black jumpsuit outfit ideas.

The thing I love about this jumpsuit is just how easy it is to wear. It is super comfortable, with a soft and stretchy material. It has a drawstring waist so you can sinch it in to create more definition. I also love that it has a scoop neck so that it does show some skin. I’m not a fan of jumpsuits that cover too much skin. I think with jumpsuits its really important to find some balance.

The thing I love most about this black jumpsuit is just how versatile it is. It totally works for a night out, but I can also throw it on to run errands on the weekend. I also think it could be styled for a day-time work look if you wore pumps and a long, fitted blazer.

Night Out Look

For my night out look, I chose to wear high heels and a cropped faux suede jacket. I tried several different jackets with the jumpsuit, but I thought this one looked best. It hit just above the drawstring at the slimmest part of my waist, so it made it feel the most flattering. I also chose a fun snakeskin print pursed for a bit of visual interest since the rest of the outfit is pretty plain with all neutral colors. For a night out, I also think you could try a brightly colored cropped jacket or maybe a super long kimono or other brightly colored, flowy piece. There are so many ways to style a plain black jumpsuit, so let your imagination run wild. I definitely opted for a neutral fall vibe with my look.

Casual Weekend Look

As for my casual look, I chose to wear flats and a chunky knit cardigan. I love this look for the weekend because it is ultra-comfortable, but yet stylish enough that I don’t feel like a shlub going to the store. This outfit is totally practical, though. The flats are super comfy but yet add a lot of visual interest with the studded rhinestone details. The purse can be worn on your arm or cross-body if you’re chasing your kids around. I love this sweater because it’s super warm and can be worn zipped or open. It’s just so cozy for weekend errands.
