Well, when I wrote this post I didn’t assume that Disneyland and the Disneyland Grand Californian Hotel and Spa would be closed! In these unprecedented times, when everything is closed and most people’s travel plans have halted, it’s still a great time to reminisce and think about a better tomorrow. With optimism and future family travel adventures, I wanted to recap our recent stay at the Grand Californian.

When I scheduled this post, I thought I would be talking about Shein floral midi dresses with sleeves. Not that that’s not a fun topic, but given the strangeness of the coronavirus situation right now, talking about fashion feels odd, at best.

Last weekend, Disneyland invited my family and me to attend the all-new Disneyland Magic Happens Parade. We were lucky enough to have a front-row seat to take in all of the magic – and it was magic.

In December, I was lucky enough to get to bring my family to Seattle. Visit Seattle created an amazing itinerary for us and we got to experience a lot of really neat things.

I’m so excited! Today, I’ve teamed up with Wyler’s Light to give one lucky person a weekend getaway package valued at $2700!

For my birthday, I wanted to do something special. I was hoping to do something super tropical or exotic, but time and resources didn’t allow anything as grand as I envisioned. But, the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa agreed to host me, and everything about this resort gave me the exact vacation vibe I’d been searching for.

Seattle has been on my travel bucket list for many years. I’ve been enamored with Seattle since the 90s. I was a big Nirvana fan and I’m an avid Starbucks drinker. Since those things came out of Seattle, it must be a place I’d like.

We’ve lived in LA almost a year, but there are still so many areas we haven’t explored. Last weekend, we decided to check out Abalone Cove Shoreline Park and their tide pools. It was such a gorgeous drive, with amazing views. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, you should definitely check it out and here is everything you need to know.

You know when you’ve been somewhere so many times, but it feels like the first time? That’s how I felt on my most recent trip to New York. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been in the city, but this was the first time I was there while the leaves were changing. I can’t even tell you how special it was to experience Central Park in the Fall. It made me fall in love with New York all over again.
