Reason

If you’ve followed my blog for any period of time, you know I love murals and street art. For that matter, I love all things art. Whenever I visit a city, I always make time to check out the local street art. This summer, I had the chance to visit the Mission District murals in San Francisco.

As I write this, I’m wrapped in an old North Face fleece, because my office is freezing. Yes, I live in the valley of the sun. But lately, it’s been really cold here (ok, in the 30’s at night and 50’s during the day, but still very cold for the dessert!).

I’m not a huge skirt person. I just recently decided I can wear pencil skirts, after years of avoiding them. The same goes for a maxi skirt. I’ve worn maxi dresses every now and then, but I generally stick to knee-length or midi-length skirts or dresses because I find them more flattering on my figure.

There is no better summer accessory than a floppy sun hat. There are three major reasons why I believe every summer wardrobe should be centered around floppy sun hats.

But I have to say, I do love the Gucci Marmont for three reasons.

Do you hold onto clothes you love, even if you think it might be outdated? I tend to rotate through my clothes pretty quickly, although I hold onto shoes, bags and accessories for years. On occasion though, I find a piece that I love so much I hold onto it for years.
