Posh

If I’m honest, I generally do my own pedicures at home or visit my local strip mall for the $20 standard pedicure. I never get the add-ons –no sea salts or flower decals for me. When it comes to pedicures, I just never really thought there were that many benefits of a spa deluxe pedicure that would make it worth the high price tag.

It may sound silly, but one of the reasons I was most excited to move back to Arizona is because Phoenix has some really great resale and consignment stores. This week’s outfit post is a perfect example of the best resale shops in Phoenix. Almost my entire look for the Gala I attended this past weekend came from resale and consignment shops.

I’m not a huge skirt person. I just recently decided I can wear pencil skirts, after years of avoiding them. The same goes for a maxi skirt. I’ve worn maxi dresses every now and then, but I generally stick to knee-length or midi-length skirts or dresses because I find them more flattering on my figure.
Animal prints never really go out of style. Sure, pink neon leopard might only last one season, but timeless prints tend to hang on. This fall is no exception. I admit I’m not a fan of all-over animal print in clothing, but I like adding subtle touches in shoes and accessories. Snakeskin or python print…

My son is wrapping up his kindergarten year and my daughter is starting kindergarten next fall. With these major milestones, I figured it’s about time I teach my kids how to tie their shoes. I’d heard about the bunny ear technique, so I honestly thought teaching kids how to tie shoes was going to be a breeze.

During the summer, I often travel overseas for work. When I come home, catching up with my babies and husband is a priority. But, after a long trip, jet lag has me dragging my body around like a zombie. Lastly, I live in Arizona. In the summer, temperatures routinely reach over 100 degrees before 10 a.m. Putting this all together for you, when I think about summer activities for toddlers, I need: 1) fun, 2) easy, and 3) cool – literally.
