Miu Miu

Most work days, I don’t overthink my outfit. I choose basics with a bit of flare, either a graphic print, fun jewelry, or sassy shoes. But when there’s a big meeting, I try a bit harder to look extra put together.

I’m a total school nerd. Growing up, I loved school and I still love school (I work at a university). I also loved summer breaks, but I always looked forward to getting ready for another year to start in school. I looked forward to back to school shopping so much–I used to make up lists of items I needed to buy (pink trapper-keeper, check).

In live in Phoenix, which means there are few days each year when I actually need a winter coat. The mornings can be a bit chilly though, so I opt to wear leather jackets or lighter-weight fall coats. I was pretty excited to find this pink car coat at a great price.

I unexpectedly ended up in the hospital last weekend with early contractions. Luckily, my daughter decided to stay put (at least for now), but her near early arrival prompted me to hurry up and get my hospital bag packed.
