Honestly, I’ve been stuck on my diamond studs for about a decade now. I hardly ever change out my earrings, but I’ve been trying to do it more often. Earrings are an accessory I loved when I was younger. I think I had four holes in one ear and five in the other. I’m actually thinking about breaking out the stacked earrings look this summer.
I don’t have tattoos, but I’ve always been into piercings. Just ask my college roomie. She watched me get at least two body piercings, if not three. (?). Believe it or not, I had my tongue pierced in college, well, up until grad school. My boyfriend, at the time, pointed out to me that it wasn’t very professional to be in grad school with a tongue ring because of what it ‘said’ about me.
I can’t believe it’s already the 4th of July next week. I love the 4th of July. It’s one of my favorite holidays. But I’m not really a stars and stripes-wearing kinda gal. Don’t get me wrong. I’m totally a fan of celebrating our great country and our freedom, but I’m not really into wearing the American flag. However, I still want to get in the holiday spirit, so I found the most subtle way to do it. My current favorite way to get in the patriotic spirit is to wear star earrings.
Are you a jewelry wearer? I tend to focus on one major piece of jewelry at a time, but there are certain pieces I always wear. My fingers are always adorned with gold rings, and my ears are stacked with little diamond and gold earrings. However, I also like to add other fun statement pieces every now and then.
