Apples

I decided to make these scrumptious apple blondies bars because October is national apple month, and they are my go-to fruit — especially pink ladies. I’ve tried my hand at baked apples and apple pie, but that has been the extent of my use of apples, other than eating them raw with a little peanut butter.

It’s nearly fall, which always makes me think of desserts using apples and pumpkin. I’ve made several pumpkin recipes and apple recipes during my eight years of blogging. But, I’ve never made mini apple pies with puff pastry before. If you haven’t used puff pastry before, it is one of the best short-cuts for all types of desserts. It functions much like a pie crust without all the time and effort. Although I do love making this simple pie crust, you can save the mixing and resting time by opting for puff pastry.

If you follow my page, you know that I love making easy recipes with puff pastry. Puff pastry is such a game-changer for baking and cooking because it saves so much time and also tastes so good. My newest recipe is these apple roses with puff pastry. They are such a pretty recipe, such a great breakfast pastry or dessert option.

Halloween is just around the corner, and it’s time to get creative in the kitchen with some ghoulishly delightful treats. One of the most beloved Halloween classics is the caramel apple, but why stick with the ordinary when you can make extraordinary Halloween caramel apples that will thrill both kids and adults?
