Here Are My 9 Favorite Turtlenecks for Fall

Chico’s gifted me this outfit for a sponsored Instagram post. All opinions are my own.

I love when it’s finally sweater weather – when you can wear a sweater and don’t even need a coat yet. I also love to wear turtlenecks – the chunkier the better. The only problem is, chunky turtlenecks don’t actually look that great on me because I have broad shoulders and a fairly large chest. V-necks are actually way more flattering on me.

Despite knowing it’s not my best style, I do still like to wear them. There is something comforting about having that turtleneck, especially as the weather gets colder.

I personally find that more fitted sweaters look better on me. Another option, are the turtlenecks that are a bit more like cowl necks. Those tend to work better on me than super high and tight turtlenecks.

I also do like how turtlenecks frame my face. Because I have a defined chin and jawline, I actually think the high neck can work on me. They tend to look better on me if I break up the turtleneck with a necklace or big earrings. I need something to draw attention away from all of the material between my neck and waist.

Even though it might not be my best look, I still love them and wear them all fall and winter long. If you’re into wearing a turtleneck, here are 9 of my current favorites for fall and winter.
