This Black and White Knit Dress Is the Comfiest Way to Look Polished This Fall

There are certain pieces I reach for over and over again once fall arrives, and a great knit dress is definitely one of them. I love clothes that look polished without actually requiring a lot of effort, especially during that transitional time of year when the weather can’t quite decide what season it is.

I also always recommend trying your undergarments with the dress before you actually plan to wear it somewhere. Sit down. Walk around. Look at the dress from different angles. Something that looks perfectly smooth when you're standing in front of the mirror might shift once you start moving.

For me, comfort matters just as much as how the dress looks. If I'm constantly adjusting something underneath my outfit, I'm probably not going to enjoy wearing it.

Why a Black and White Knit Dress Is Such a Good Fall Staple

Fall fashion gets associated with sweaters, boots and layers, but you don’t necessarily need an entirely new wardrobe when the season changes. I’d much rather find a few transitional pieces that can work across multiple months.
