Have you found your New Year’s Eve outfit yet? If you’re still not sure what you should wear, I’ve pulled some of my favorite New Years Eve looks under $50. Believe it or not, my top and skirt are under $50, combined! Although I do totally support getting a special occasion dress every now and then, I generally don’t like to buy expensive dresses or outfits I’ll only wear once.

I’m not really much for resolutions, but I do like thinking about the year that has been and the year to come, reminiscing about the highlights from 2013 and looking forward to the adventures that 2014 will bring.

I’m really looking forward to 2016 and my 36th year on this planet (my birthday is this week). The next 360-ish days will definitely include a lot of travel, thanks to my awesome day job. I also look forward to the end of diapers! Rocco learned to potty train in 2015, and I am sure Gigi will be quick behind him this year.

I cannot believe it’s almost 2020. I remember the year 2000 so vividly that it’s crazy how quickly those 20 years went. The adage that time goes faster the older you get is so very true. As the new year approaches, I like to revisit the past year and think about all the highs and lows. It can be so humbling to revisit your successes and losses. So here goes. My 2019 year in review.
