I love floral off shoulder dresses because they feel so light, airy and romantic for spring and summer. I’m also so glad that stores aren’t only carrying obvious styles – read white eyelet or lace – but also vibrant colors and interesting floral prints.

For the longest time, I shied away from wearing shorts and sleeveless tops. I have broad shoulders and broad hips, so I tried to cover up those areas. In the summer, I tended to wear mostly a-line dresses that hit at the knee, or other flowy dresses.

The weather in LA lately has been quite warm. We were in the 80s the last week, so it’s definitely time to break out the spring and summer clothes. I love wearing maxi dresses because they are so easy to wear. They breathe and flow so well. Its the perfect summer dress, and priced right, so I got two. When I first saw this white floral off the shoulder dress, I especially fell for the cutout lace detail at the waistline.
