Covid 19

None of us were prepared for how rapidly our lives would change with COVID-19. As a small business owner, myself (yes, my blog is an actual business), I instinctively knew I’d have to adapt quickly. In order to keep my business alive, I knew I’d need to meet the changing demands of the market. I also knew I’d need to shift my content to meet my partners (the brands I represent) and my consumers (my readers and followers) where they are.

Mommy PSA: No matter what kind of mom you are, you’re doing great. I had an experience at the bank yesterday that got me thinking. We need to talk about how moms can support each other during the pandemic. We all need ideas for coping with all of the added stress and our kids being home for weeks, if not months. So, I thought it might be useful to share my experience. I also want to talk about how moms need to support each other during the coronavirus outbreak.

Earlier this summer, I was so optimistic that the 2021 school year would be ‘back to normal’. Now that I’m only a couple of weeks away from my kids going back to school, I’m thinking a lot about how to prepare for the next school year during COVID-19. After choosing to keep my kids home the last year and a half, we’ve opted to send them back to in-person instruction in the fall. To be completely honest, I’m anxious about the decision. After a lot of thought, we felt it was the best choice for our kids and our family, despite our fears.
