Paris is one of my favorite cities in the world, but one of the best things about visiting France is how easy it is to escape the city for the day. Some of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in France have actually been outside of Paris. From charming villages to historic landmarks and countryside vineyards, there are so many incredible day trips from Paris that completely change your perspective on the country.

On my most recent trip to France, I finally visited Giverny and Monet’s Garden, and honestly, it ended up being one of the highlights of my entire Paris trip.
